OK guys! I need you! I made a zip of my sugar valley save.

all you do is take this folder and place it in your saves folder. When you open the game, there will be a Sugar Valley Test. All i want you to do is start a game on it and play it for a while. See if it saves and and does what it supposed to :B

You should place the folder here....

My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves that means inside the Saves folder!

Sugar Valley Test Be sure to skip the ad!!!

Just to be safe make a back up of your saves. I have had two people try and it worked fine so it should not be a problem. But it never hurts to be safe

Anyone else is welcome to try it too! I will not make the official anouncement though until we play with it a little.

For additional help or questions please direct them here! Thank you.

Not yet, you can download various parts of Twizzlerbrook on the Exchange, and as for Briocheport, I believe there was a thread on the old site about it. Alternatively, you can find buildings from there about everywhere as well, including on my page: bowtiecreations.wordpress.com

How exactly do you get Twallan's SP to work in this game if it's not a "new" game. Nothing is happening in my town, aka no berry babies! Help.

Just click on city hall and choose the option to enable it.

SP is a story progression mod. Twallan is the creator. :]

Do I need that, for the town to work?

----

Also I am truly sorry if I am asking too many questions but I would like to know what extra content you used outside of the expansion and stuff packs if you do not mind telling?

No you don't need SP for the town to work.

Twallan is a mod creator that creates side running mods (non core, so they're less dangerous [in a way]) that most of us use to have more control in our game. His Story Progression (SP) is a favorite since Awsomemod is a core and isn't updated promptly and the EA (default) progression has a tendency to go ghost, where all the simmies die out and no one has babies.

For the most part with cc Fawkes colored skins will be your most important. She's found on Mod the Sims and all berries use her skins for the different colors. CC for individual houses or sims are listed by the creator. I know in the SV file here, cc is kept on the low side for not everyone is a fan of cc.

*hey Berry, do we have a mod thread where we share what mods we use and like yet? It would be a good resource.

On modthesims Fawkes tells us to go to cupcake's site for the updated skintones, but doesn't give a link. I saved everyone the trouble of looking and found the link myself. Razz

I don't know if this is normal, but I've played on the town for about four sim days, and I keep getting notices about sims being tardy for work and school? Some of these are about sims who used to live in Sunset Valley, but have been replaced. Is it just my game? Cause, it isn't really affecting game play, I just thought I would let you guys know.

I have this problem too. They might be getting stuck in the diner (like around the walls Berry made. A bunch of my sims get stuck like that. I go to edit town a place a door in there Embarassed Well that's what I did, hope that helped.

Do I need any EP/SP's or specific mods for this to work? I already downloaded the skintone sliders from cupcake's site. I'm sorry if I'm asking too many questions. I used to play sims 2, and just bought and switched to sims 3 this weekend, so the custom content for this game is new to me... it's really a lot more complicated than the sims 2...

So, I looked into the not getting to work/school thing, and whenever I clicked on the sim they were just walking around or were actually at work/school. So it isn't that they're getting stuck somewhere, they're just lazy or something lol.

Sugar Valley Test Be sure to skip the ad!!! One major problem, make sure to remove the back wall from the diner. Sims will get stuck.

Just to be safe make a back up of your saves. I have had two people try and it worked fine so it should not be a problem. But it never hurts to be safe
