Lets Have Us Some Berry Random Chat

So I think probably the most common berry skintone is Fawkes, but Scones (teatimeforsims) created 18 non default skintones (you can download them at Gos). I had them sitting in my cc que because I wasn't sure if I wanted them or not but I decided to try them out today, and I'm in love :3

Did you guys pre-order pets?

I haven't yet. Probably won't be able to get it until my next paycheck after it's released.

I preordered it ages ago from amazon. When I saw today the offer on the official TS3 site of (preorder from Origin and get a free Stuff pack!), I was about to cancel my amazon order and get it from there, but then after NOT impulse-buying, I thought it over and realized a few things:

1: I never really wanted the stuff packs to begin with.
2: After tax and such, it was a couple of dollars MORE on the origin site.
3: Their shipping on amazon is 99¢ for me to get it the day it's released, yet on origin it takes 3-4 business days.
4: Well, I already had it preordered from a site I trust wholeheartedly, so why risk it just for a stuff pack I don't even want? Just for the sake of getting something free?

Anyways, not putting down Origin or any of you that might've preordered from there, but that's my reasoning on the whole issue.

I preordered from Origin way back in June. But the 3-4 business days isn't really true. You get the game delivered the day it is released. I know this because I have been pre-ordering my sims games directly from EA since Sims 2 lol :3 I prefer to get my items directly from ea because they usually throw in a little something, and usually its very little, but I like these things :3 Like the cool paws and whiskers costume set that comes with the origin purchase :3

I preordered the Limited Edition on a dutch site called: bol.com. It's 34,99 (In euro's), and i cant waaaait anylonger!
Still 12 days to wait , well for holland, you guys get them way sooner well 2 days perhaps But still!

I think we have enough topics at the moment to get started :p But I've actually been planing a berry colab with certain people, so it would be cool!

lol for a second I looked at my calender and was like "Wait a minute whaaaa?" LMAO

So, I'm in CAW editor, and....by fooling around a bit (while being safe and creating copies of the files used just in case), I am able to make colored grass...like, as in, the grass in the town by default would be hot pink.

I know this might be very old news, but for me it isn't lol...erm....I may follow up with a pic. I'm still just in shock atm.

Argghh i was reading a legacy on my iPhone, but now i lost it and i can't remember the name... I'm so frustrated...!

Didn't know that either! That's so freaking awesome! Can't play with CAW though because it makes my came crash.

Aww noes! You tried making sure you had the latest version and all? I had a problem with it not opening because it said my game had to be updated (after it WAS updated to the latest patch, mind you.), but I was able to fix it with some adjustments.

CAW is pretty tricky and annoying at first when you don't know how to do things, but once you get the hang of things, it's a breeze.

But yeah, I made pink, purple, and blue grass last night, and then I went and made pink sand with a completely different texture! THAT really shocked me...I mean, I think I have the ability to make the ground polka dots if I really wanted to (but I don't want to, because I'd get a headache XD)

It's a small town, but I'm gonna try to finish and test Auroratown tonight (that's what I named it lol). It's a bit sloppy, but just for testing the ground and such, it'll do. I'm pretty excited!
